Save Our Sweaters workshop at Mattapoisett Free Public Library

Reed McLaren of The Sustainable Garment will lead a sweater care and repair workshop on Sunday, Nov. 15, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Mattapoisett Free Public Library. Participants will learn to remove fabric pills using a homemade sweater comb and repair holes through needle felting and visible mending.
Attendees should bring sweaters or other garments to practice on. Wool and cashmere work best, although other fabrics may be suitable. Registration is required.
