Riverside Cemetery Walking Tour

Founded in 1850 by Warren Delano II, grandfather of President Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Riverside is marking its 175th anniversary this year. The rural-style cemetery is known for its landscaped paths and historic gravestones. Former Fairhaven Director of Tourism Chris Richard will guide the tour, which highlights the final resting places of some of the town’s most notable residents.

Participants should expect uneven ground and are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes. Parking is permitted on cemetery roads with space left open inside the gate. No restrooms are available, and no registration is required.
