River Day 2026 in Westport

River Day 2026 is scheduled for Saturday, June 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Head of Westport Town Landing in Westport.
The annual event celebrates the Westport River through live music, cultural performances, environmental exhibits, children’s activities, games, and community organizations. Scheduled highlights include the Eastern Medicine Singers, a parade with watershed animal puppets, and therapy donkeys and horses from Archangel Equestrian.
Exhibits at The River Center will focus on sustainability and river ecology. Parking and shuttle service will be available from Westport High School. A rain date is scheduled for June 21.
