ReelTalk: Wizard of Oz

New Bedford Art Museum will screen The Wizard of Oz on Saturday, Aug. 15, at 5 p.m. Admission is free.
The 87th anniversary screening is presented in partnership with Cojo’s Toy World. It includes discussions before and after the film led by Dr. Mocha J. Herrup, a senior lecturer in communications, journalism and media at Suffolk University, an award-winning filmmaker and film festival programmer.
The 1939 classic follows Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, as they are swept from Kansas to the Land of Oz, where they join the Scarecrow, Tin Man and Cowardly Lion on a journey along the Yellow Brick Road to meet the Wizard.
