Quasi Committee of the Whole meeting

New Bedford’s Quasi Committee of the Whole will hold budget hearings on Monday, June 1, at 6 p.m. The meeting will be livestreamed and recorded through the city’s website.

Departments and funds scheduled for review include Elections, Tourism and Marketing, the Arts, Culture and Tourism Fund, the Traffic Commission, the Downtown Enterprise Fund, the Library, Planning, and the CFO’s office.

Councilors will also review employee benefits and municipal accounts, including health insurance, life insurance, pension contributions, snow removal, unemployment compensation, workers’ compensation, and intergovernmental assessments.
