Paper Quilling workshop: earrings

A beginner paper quilling class will be held on Saturday, May 16, from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Admission is $45.
The workshop teaches the decorative paper art of quilling through the creation of handmade earrings. Participants will roll and shape paper into colorful designs using traditional quilling tools. Sample patterns will be available, along with the option to create original styles.
Quilling originated in 15th-century France and Italy and was once used by nuns to decorate religious objects. The class offers an introduction to the revived art form through a hands-on project.
