New Bedford Memorial Day Parade

May 29 @ 11:30 am

The Memorial Day Parade will step off at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of Hathaway Blvd. and Parker St. From Parker St. The procession will march East to County St., then turn left and head north. Upon reaching Pope Street, the parade will turn right to head east and enter Clasky Common Park.

All participants are encouraged to stay and participate in the memorial service at the reviewing stand after the parade. This year’s service will include readings of the Gettysburg Address and Logan’s Orders and a roll call of New Bedford’s deceased veterans. Family and friends of fallen veterans are invited to bring a flower to the service to place at the Soldiers and Sailors Monument.
