New Bedford Conservation Commission meeting
The New Bedford Conservation Commission will meet Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 6:30 p.m. at the Brooklawn Senior Center, 1997 Acushnet Ave.
Agenda:
Includes vegetation alteration applications for properties on Stevenson and Forbes streets, compliance requests for waterfront and Belleville Avenue properties, and a modification request for Foss Marine Terminal.
Continued hearings include plans for a public access trail along the Acushnet River and a proposed 72-unit apartment building on Braley Road. Members will also consider a proposed 180-foot communications tower on Duchaine Boulevard to support Fire, Police, and EMS communications.
