Não me Digas: Free Pop-Up Portuguese Conversation Night

Hotel Papel will launch Não me Digas, a free pop-up event where the community can practice conversational Portuguese in a relaxed setting. The first meeting will be held Tuesday, Sept. 23, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Tia Maria’s Café in downtown New Bedford.

Led by Lara Harrington and Hotel Papel, the program welcomes speakers of all levels to connect through language and culture. The evening will include conversation practice, a cash bar, and music curated by Selectress Claudia Dee-Bee.

Participants can join the Não me Digas mailing list to receive resources, conversation prompts, and tips. This event is the first in a series of cultural gatherings that highlight heritage and contemporary Portuguese identity.
