Mosaic Plant Pots — ceramic shards
Learn how to turn broken ceramics and other found materials into a colorful mosaic plant pot. The workshop takes place Aug. 22 from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and costs $65.
Participants will work with a medium-sized terra cotta pot and learn how to shape ceramic pieces, apply adhesive, and grout the finished design.
Materials can include broken pottery, patterned or textured pieces, sea glass, seashells, and decorative metal. The workshop is a chance to give new life to disposable materials.
Once the basics are learned, students can learn techniques for creating larger pots and other mosaic projects.
