Meet the Mission community event to Support Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod & the Islands will host “Meet the Mission” at Wednesday, Aug. 12 at 5 p.m. at Cisco Kitchen & Bar in New Bedford.
Attendees can hear live music by French Lick and sample local food and drinks. Staff, volunteers and community partners will also be on hand to share more about the organization.
Young people are matched with caring adult mentors. More local youth are waiting to be matched with a Big, and the nonprofit is seeking new volunteers.
