Marc Broussard at Narrows

May 16 @ 8:00 pm

Narrows Center for the Arts presents Marc Broussard on Saturday, May 16. Sway Wild opens the show. Doors open at 7 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $70 in advance and $73 the day of the show.

Broussard is known for blending soul, blues, rock, and roots music into his own signature sound. Raised in Lafayette, Louisiana, he is the son of Louisiana Hall of Fame guitarist Ted Broussard of The Boogie Kings. He began performing at an early age and built a following with an independent EP before releasing his major-label debut, Carencro.

The album featured the hit song “Home” and helped bring Broussard to a wider audience. Over the years, he has earned praise for his soulful voice and emotional performances. NPR said his music blends Louisiana blues with rock ’n’ roll, while The Washington Times called his voice one of the most powerful in modern music.
