Create macrame floating shelves and a keychain on Friday, Aug. 14, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The class fee is $55.
Students will learn a few essential knots, then put them to work creating two handmade projects. The workshop covers the basics of macrame, a centuries-old textile art built entirely by hand.
No complicated tools are needed.
