MAC Theater: The Constant Wife

The Constant Wife by Somerset Maugham runs Aug. 14 to 23 at the Marion Art Center. Friday and Saturday performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Sunday matinees are at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $23 for MAC members and $28 for nonmembers. Performances are Aug. 14, 15, 16, 21, 22 and 23.
Adapted and directed by Kate Fishman, the production moves Maugham’s comedy to the late 1960s. The story follows Constance Middleton, the wife of an unfaithful Boston surgeon, as she questions marriage, independence and her own identity.
Cast members include Kristina Dahlene, Cynthia Johnson, Michele Letourneau, Robert Mahowald, Kara McCann, Gary Sousa, Genevieve Suman, Maura Van Voris and others.
