Keynote speaker Richard V. Reeves will present “The Silent Crisis: Addressing the Educational Struggles of Boys and Men” on March 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the New Bedford Whaling Museum.
The talk explores the academic and social challenges facing boys and men. Reeves is a nationally recognized researcher, author, and speaker. His work spans journalism, public policy, and think tank leadership. Roles include nonresident senior fellow at the Brookings Institution, president of the American Institute for Boys and Men, and chair of the UK Institute for Boys and Men.
Doors open at 6 p.m. A question-and-answer session and book signing follow the keynote. Admission is free.
