KabuJazz Ensemble featuring Candida Rose

The Music in the MAC community concert series continues with a free outdoor performance by the KabuJazz Ensemble featuring Candida Rose on Sunday, May 31, at 4 p.m. at Benjamin D. Cushing Community Center. Guests can bring lawn chairs and a picnic. In case of bad weather, the concert moves indoors.
Candida Rose Baptista and musical director J.L. Santos Spencer lead the KabuJazz Ensemble that blends Cabo Verdean music with American jazz influences. The group has performed across the country and throughout New England, and has also brought cultural programs and workshops to schools.
