Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville: Call for submissions

New Bedford Festival Theatre seeks performers for its production of Jimmy Buffett’s Escape to Margaritaville. Submissions are accepted from Dec. 18 through Jan. 23. Email ebettencourt@nbfestivaltheatre.com to submit or for more details.

Local callbacks are scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 7, in New Bedford.

Performers should prepare a short song in the show’s style or from the score. Applicants must be at least 16 by July 2026. A stipend is offered. Performers of all backgrounds are encouraged to submit.

Rehearsals run June 22 through July 10 at the Zeiterion Performing Arts Center. Performances are set for July 17 through July 26.

Submissions from performers with local housing and transportation should be emailed to ebettencourt@nbfestivaltheatre.com and include a video audition, headshot, and resume.

Performers without local housing or transportation should submit through Backstage.
