Jewelry Repair 101: Fix It Forward workshop

Jewelry Repair 101: Fix It Forward is on Saturday, June 6, from 10 a.m. to noon at Wilks Library, 1911 Acushnet Ave., in New Bedford.
Jenny Arruda of TL6 The Gallery will lead the beginner-friendly session focused on basic jewelry repair skills. Students will learn how to restring beads, replace clasps, and fix common jewelry issues. The class is encouraged to bring a piece of jewelry to repair.
Eyeglass repairs and used eyeglass donations for the Lions Club will also be available. A jewelry swap will run at the same time, with drop-offs beginning May 26 at New Bedford and Dartmouth libraries.
Registration is required, and space is limited.
