James Norman & Daryl Gussin at Aviary Books
James Norman and Daryl Gussin will read from their work on Sunday, July 19 at 7 p.m. at Aviary Books in New Bedford. Local writers Nick LeBlanc and Michael Fournier will also appear.
The duo are touring the East Coast with their “Poetry for the Sticky Floor Outside the Venue” series. Their performances a mix of spoken word with stories of travel, punk culture, and everyday life, exploring themes of community, resilience, humor, and personal experience.
Gussin is a writer, musician, and managing editor of the punk zine Razorcake. Norman is a poet, musician, and associate editor with Zeitgeist Press.
