Intro to Sketch Comedy Class

An eight-week class led by Kate Teichman will teach the fundamentals of sketch comedy writing. Students will explore premise, character, and dialogue through writing exercises, sketch analysis, and live reads. The course ends with a class performance.

Teichman has more than 20 years of experience in theater, improv, and sketch comedy. She holds a BFA in theater, trained at iO! in Chicago, and performed with Providence’s Empire Revue for 10 years. The class fee is $260.
