Hurricane and storm preparedness training

Residents can learn how to prepare for hurricanes and severe storms during a community preparedness session on Wednesday, July 15 at 6 p.m. at the Community Boating Center, 1641 Padanaram Ave. in New Bedford.
The session will help residents prepare for severe weather. Topics include understanding local storm risks, finding your evacuation zone, building a plan that works for your household, and knowing where to get reliable weather updates.
