Greater New Bedford Choral Society open rehearsals
The Greater New Bedford Choral Society will hold open rehearsals on Wednesdays, Sept. 9, 16, and 23 at 6:30 p.m. at First Unitarian Church in New Bedford.
No auditions are required. New singers can attend a rehearsal before deciding whether to join the chorus. Rehearsals run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
Brian Dean Sousa directs the group and includes singers from communities across southeastern Massachusetts.
Its winter concert, “Christmas Songs from Around the World,” is scheduled for 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 6. The program will feature music from 11 countries in several languages.
