Grand Benefit Auction at UUSF

The Unitarian Universalist Society of Fairhaven plans a Grand Benefit Auction on Saturday, June 6, from 5 to 8 p.m. Admission is $10 and includes appetizers, desserts, and beverages.

Auction items range from getaways in Vermont, Chatham, and Prince Edward Island to local dining packages and a private sauna experience on a Rhode Island beach. Outdoor lovers can bid on a sunset sail, golf for four at Reservation Golf Club, or a guided nature hike followed by lunch.

Handmade and artistic pieces include a carved beluga whale, a lap throw quilt, and a custom watercolor portrait of a home. One live auction item offers the chance to name a minor character in an upcoming HarperCollins novel after the winning bidder.

Proceeds will support church programs and building upkeep.
