Gold Leafing: Gilded little Seashells and Wishbones workshop

A gold leafing workshop introduces the time-honored technique of gilding, first used by ancient Egyptians and later adopted by the Romans. Students will learn the basics of applying gold leaf to three-dimensional objects.

Topics include surface preparation, proper adhesives, applying the gold leaf, polishing, and optional varnishing.
