Freetown Summer Sounds

Freetown’s Summer Concert Series consists of three free concerts at the bandstand at 5 South Main St. in Assonet. Performances are scheduled every other Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. Rain dates are set for the following Tuesday.

July 14
The Dave Richardson Band will open the series with a mix of New Orleans funk, Texas blues, soul, and rock and roll.
Rain date: July 21

July 28
Real Weird, a Fall River-based cover band, will perform a mix of hits from the 1990s, 2000s, and beyond.
Rain date: Aug. 4

Aug. 11
Four in a Row will close the series with rockabilly, country, blues, and rock inspired by the 1950s and 1960s.
Rain date: Aug. 18

D and L Concessions and Joe’s Ice Cream will be on site during the concerts. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets. More information and updates are available through the Town of Freetown website and Facebook page.
