Flower Power: Flower Pounding on Paper workshop

Flower Power: Flower Pounding on Paper is on Sunday, June 14, from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The class fee is $45.

Tatakizome is an ancient Japanese technique that transfers flowers onto fabric or paper. It is simple and produces vivid results. Students will create a design on cotton rag watercolor paper, then use a hammer to press the flowers into the surface.

Finished pieces can be used as cards, framed art, or gift tags.
