First Fridays: The Jethros

The Jethros headline the First Fridays event on Friday, July 3, at the New Bedford Whaling Museum, in the Harbor View Gallery.

Guests can take in waterfront views while enjoying complimentary lite bites and a cash bar. Free admission to the museum galleries is offered from 5 to 8 p.m. The music and reception run from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

Known for their energetic live shows, The Jethros mix original music with folk, jazz, and brass band sounds. Band members include Boney Jethro on fiddle, Homer Jethro on guitar, Rufus Jethro on trumpet, Gaston Jethro on bass, LeRoy Jethro on trombone, and Cornelius Jethro on drums.

Tickets are $25 for the public and $12.50 for museum members. Advance purchase is required. Seating is limited. Reserved tables for six are available for an additional fee.

Admission includes access to museum galleries during First Fridays.
