First Friday: The Art of Hip Hop at the Whaling Museum

The New Bedford Whaling Museum will spotlight hip hop’s creative expression on Friday, Nov. 6. from 6 to 8 p.m. bringing together music, dance, spoken word and visual art, with local and regional artists.
A live DJ set, dance performances, spoken word and graffiti art will lead into a collaborative performance and community cypher. A cash bar and light refreshments will be available throughout the evening.
Doors open at 5 p.m., with programming Tickets are $12.50 for museum members and $25 for the public (18 and older).
