FABRIC Arts Festival: multiple locations
October 8 - October 11

The FABRIC Arts Festival runs Oct. 8 to 11 with food, film, music, visual art, and performance across New Bedford, Fall River, and Providence.
New Bedford
Opening night is on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the New Bedford Whaling Museum. Tickets are $25 for the public or $12.50 for Museum Members and include access to all three program parts.
Com Amor (With Love) begins at 6 p.m. with food, performance, and video inspired by Azorean family traditions.
A Beat of Saudades follows at 7:30 p.m. with a look at Portuguese and Azorean pop culture in New England.
The Filipe Furtado Trio closes the night at 8:30 p.m. with jazz and contemporary music.
