FABRIC Arts Festival 2025

The official lineup for FABRIC Arts Festival 2025 is live. From Oct. 9–12, Fall River, and Providence will host four days of art, food, music, and conversation.
Now in its sixth year, FABRIC blends exhibitions, performances, installations, and communal dinners. Co-founders Michael Benevides and Jesse James say the goal is simple: bring people together. Food takes a starring role this year, with dinners that merge cuisine, storytelling, and performance.
Organized by Casa dos Açores da Nova Inglaterra, the festival highlights Fall River’s Portuguese roots while connecting with global artistic voices. This edition also coincides with the World Council of Casas dos Açores, drawing cultural leaders from around the world.
Highlights include:
- Thursday, Oct. 9, Fall River: Bhen Alan’s “Salo Salo” dinner-performance at Narrows Center.
- Friday, Oct. 10, Fall River: “Post Scarcity Sculpture” exhibit opening at FR MoCA; Project Calafonas’ dinner-performance at The Cultural Center.
- Saturday, Oct. 11, Providence: Hugo Brazão and Dirt Palace’s “LoafHead” at ODD-KIN; sound installation “Crosscurrents/Contracorrentes” at AS220; late-night DJ party “Latchkey” at CRIB featuring Portugal’s Branko.
