Endangered Species Book Talk with David Goethel

David Goethel is a commercial fisherman, author, and former fisheries management council member. He will discuss his new book, “Endangered Species,” on Wednesday, July 8, from 6 to 7 p.m. at the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center.
The book chronicles Goethel’s 55-year career in New England’s small boat fishing industry. The program includes readings, photos, and a discussion of fish, fishing, and the Magnuson-Stevens Act. A question-and-answer session will follow.
