Educator Open House at the Whaling Museum
February 3 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
A free open house for educators will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 3, from 4–6 p.m. Teachers and guests can view new exhibits. Information will be shared about tours and student activities. Museum staff will be available to discuss field trips and classroom resources.
Activities will be offered during the program, including a sample squid dissection. An interactive topographic sand table will also be available. A STEM design challenge will focus on rising sea levels.
Learning spaces such as the Kids’ Corner and Sailor’s Nook will be open.
