Dog Adoption Event at Sakonnet Vineyard

Sakonnet Vineyard and Lighthouse Animal Shelter are partnering for a dog adoption event on May 17 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the vineyard in Little Compton, RI.

Guests can meet adoptable dogs, learn about the adoption process, and enter raffles for gift baskets. Wine tastings, wines by the glass or bottle, and seasonal café offerings will also be available for purchase. Admission is free, and reservations are not required. Adoption fees may vary.

Founded in 1975, Sakonnet Vineyard is New England’s oldest vineyard and is known for its coastal-grown wines and seasonal events.

Lighthouse Animal Shelter is an all-volunteer nonprofit focused on rescuing homeless animals, especially adult and senior pets, while promoting responsible pet ownership and spay-and-neuter efforts.
