Dock-u-mentary Film Screening: Diving for Scallops & Keeper

The New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center will screen two short films by Caroline Losneck and Christoph Gelfand on Friday, Nov. 21, followed by a Q&A with the filmmakers.
“Diving for Scallops” (2015) profiles a one-armed Maine fisherman who dives for scallops and has been featured in the New York Times Op Docs and at festivals nationwide.
“Keeper” (2017) was created for the Maine Maritime Museum’s exhibit Into the Lantern and explores the history of lighthouse keepers.
The screening will take place at 38 Bethel Street unless otherwise noted.
