David Wax Museum & Lowland Hum present The Golden Hours at Narrows

The Golden Hours, a new Charlottesville, Virginia-based band formed by members of indie-folk acts Lowland Hum and David Wax Museum, will perform Friday, Aug. 21, at the Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River. Doors open at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $31 in advance and $33 on the day of the show, with no additional fees.

The musicians have toured and recorded for more than 20 years and have been featured on CBS Saturday Morning and NPR’s Tiny Desk. Their work has also received recognition from The New York Times, The Washington Post, TIME, and Rolling Stone. The Golden Hours’ debut album, “Terra Nova,” is scheduled for release in 2026 and includes “Day Wheel,” which was selected as an NPR Music Song of the Day. The album brings together the four songwriters in a collection described as both lush and distilled, with an emphasis on emotional and conceptual themes.
