Dan Moretti & Brazilia at Narrows
Dan Moretti & Brazilia take the Narrows stage on Saturday, Aug. 1 at 8 p.m.. Doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 in advance and $37 the day of the show.
Saxophonist Dan Moretti leads an international ensemble that combines Brazilian and Latin jazz with contemporary influences. The group features musicians from the United States, Peru, Ukraine and Colombia, including four-time Grammy-winning bassist Oscar Stagnaro. Moretti is a 2017 inductee into the Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame who has shared the stage with artists including Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin and Nile Rodgers & Chic.
The band’s 2025 release, “Celebrating Wayne Shorter: Live at the Pump House Music Works,” reached No. 1 on the Roots Music Report and JazzWeek charts.
Brazilia also features pianist Maxim Lubarsky, percussionist Ernesto Diaz and drummer Steve Langone.
