Curso de Bordado Sobre Papel (Paper Embroidery Course) con Paulina Fuenzalida-Guzman

Arte Entre Amigos presenta un taller gratuito para artistas y creativos de habla hispana sobre cómo dibujar y trazar figuras geométricas y abstractas con hilo y papel. La clase forma parte de un esfuerzo más amplio para apoyar el desarrollo económico a través de las artes.

La sesión será dirigida por Paulina, una artista textil originaria de Santiago, Chile. Se mudó a New Bedford en 2018 para cursar una maestría en fibras en UMass Dartmouth. Su trabajo explora la identidad y el impacto de las experiencias personales y sociales. Paulina ha recibido reconocimientos por sus logros, incluido el premio Surface Design Association Outstanding Student Award en 2019. Continúa liderando proyectos que destacan voces poco representadas en las artes.

Arte Entre Amigos is a free hybrid workshop for Spanish-speaking artists and creatives on drawing and hatching geometric and abstract figures with thread and paper. The class is part of Peer to Peer Session, a wider effort to support arts-based economic development.

The session will be led by Paulina, a textile artist from Santiago, Chile. She moved to New Bedford in 2018 to pursue an MFA in fibers at UMass Dartmouth. Her work explores identity and the impact of personal and social experiences. Paulina has earned recognition for her achievements, including the Surface Design Association Outstanding Student Award in 2019. She continues to lead projects that highlight underrepresented voices in the arts.
