Creative Escape: Adult Art Workshop

Aspiring artists of all skill levels are welcome at the January meeting of Creative Escapes, a monthly art-making series. The session focuses on illustrating a bird-of-paradise flower using watercolor and colored pencils. Emphasis is placed on layering wet and dry media.
Class meets Sunday, Jan. 11, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Snow date is Sunday, Jan. 18, from 2 to 4:30 p.m.
The program is presented by Catherine Carter Art School at Hatch Street Studios. Tuition is $75 and includes all materials. Light refreshments will be served.
