Cheers for a Cause raises funds for YMCA Southcoast

FALL RIVER —  The Fall River YMCA and Stoico/FIRSTFED YMCA are teaming up to host Cheers for a Cause 2025,  a wine-and- beer tasting fundraiser for the YMCA Southcoast, at The Narrows Center for the Arts on Friday, Sept. 19.

Along with  tastings from local distributors and craft breweries, the event will feature food sampling stations from area restaurants. Attendees can also enjoy a host of raffle items and a premium live auction. Entertainment will include a live band and photo booth.

All funds raised will go to YMCA Southcoast’s Annual Campaign to ensure that everyone has access to the YMCA regardless of their financial circumstances.

YMCA Southcoast is a nonprofit charity that has been serving the community for over 160 years. It includes six branches located along the south coast of Massachusetts, including Wareham, Mattapoisett, New Bedford, Dartmouth, Swansea, and Fall River.
