Changing the Narrative on Suicide at River’s End Park

Samaritans Southcoast will participate in a suicide-awareness event Thursday, Sept. 10, from 6:30 to 9 p.m., at River’s End Park, 246 River Road, New Bedford.
The program will include a water lantern ceremony and reflections on suicide loss. Speakers include Christine Rizza, director of training and outreach, and Wendy Vieira, a Samaritans Southcoast board member and Safe Place facilitator.
