Cape Verdean Association Annual Meeting

The Cape Verdean Association in New Bedford will hold its annual meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 6 p.m. at the New Bedford Art Museum.
Keynote speaker Carlos A. Almeida, Ph.D., is a professor of Portuguese and director of the Luso Centro. His talk examines how Cabo Verdean immigrant communities have shaped Cabo Verde’s development.
The program highlights the association’s ongoing work to preserve and promote Cape Verdean culture.
