Call for Donations and Volunteers

UMass Dartmouth nursing students partnered with GiftsToGive through a service learning project to help meet local needs. Students organized a campus collection of hygiene and personal care items for children and families, supporting GiftsToGive’s mission to address child poverty and promote well-being.

The charity relies on community support as shelves empty each season. Donations and volunteers help provide essential items to families in need.

Most needed items include hygiene kits with toothpaste, soap, deodorant, and shampoo. Children’s winter gear, such as coats, hats, mittens, and boots, is also needed. Program items include art supplies, toys, books, and games.
