Buttonwood Buddies at BPZoo
Preschoolers can get outside, make some new friends, and meet a few animal friends during Buttonwood Buddies at Buttonwood Park Zoo. The weekly playgroup is designed for children ages 2 to 5 and runs Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m., Oct. 1 through Nov. 19. There will be no session on Oct. 15.
Each session includes outdoor play, crafts, songs, and story time, along with a chance to meet some of the zoo’s animals. A zoo educator leads the activities, giving children and their grown-ups time to play and explore together.
Featured animals include a red fox, Russian tortoise, corn snake, leopard gecko, invertebrates, green aracari, and striped skunk.
Zoo members pay $16 per session, and nonmembers pay $27.
