Boston Labor Day Parade

The Greater Boston Labor Council, AFL-CIO, has organized Boston’s first Labor Day Parade on Monday, September 1, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. To join, interested individuals and groups are encouraged to RSVP online or contact the Greater Boston Labor Council for press credentials or additional information.

Participants will assemble at Park Street and Beacon Street on Boston Common near the State House.

The procession will end at City Hall Plaza with music, speakers and food.

• Chrissy Lynch, president of the Massachusetts AFL-CIO
• Rank-and-file union members and community leaders

• Roberto Clemente Dancers

The parade will highlight the theme “Workers over Billionaires” and feature remarks from union leaders and elected officials, including Boston Mayor Michelle Wu and Massachusetts AFL-CIO President Chrissy Lynch. Marching bands, dancers and community groups will also take part.
