Boo at the Zoo

Buttonwood Park Zoo’s annual Halloween extravaganza returns for its 24th year. Boo at the Zoo is a mix of family fun and mild spooks.
The celebration runs weekends from October 11 through Halloween, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Activities include face painting, glitter tattoos, carousel rides, animal encounters, and trick-or-treating.
New this year are an inflatable corn maze, roaming fairies, and access to Charlie’s Nature Play and the Animal Ambassador Center.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $15 for children two and older, with BPZOO members receiving a $5 discount. Event information and pumpkin decorating contest details are available through the Zoo’s website.
