Board of Assessors Meeting

The Board of Assessors of New Bedford will hold an open meeting at 9 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026, in Room 112 at City Hall. The session begins with approval of minutes from the Dec. 18, 2025, meeting.
The board will review and approve monthly abatement and exemption reports. It will also review and approve motor vehicle and boat excise tax reports.
An executive session is scheduled to discuss abatements under state law. The meeting will conclude with setting the date and time of the next session.
