Appointments and Briefings Committee meeting

The Appointments and Briefings Committee meets Tuesday, Feb. 17, at 7 p.m. in City Council chambers at City Hall.
Agenda includes public comment on housing and homelessness, social issues, and public records. Members will continue a public hearing on a special permit request for a motor vehicle sales and repair business on Ashley Boulevard.
Several mayoral appointments are up for review, along with license and residency waiver requests. The committee will also revisit a proposed host community agreement for a marijuana business and ongoing discussion of the city’s cigar pricing regulation.
