And the Beat Goes On…100 Years of Cabaret Music

Seaglass Theater Company brings “And the Beat Goes On…100 Years of Cabaret Music” to two historic Massachusetts churches this fall. The performances will take place on Oct. 25 at 3 p.m. in Milton and on Oct. 26 at 3 p.m. in Fairhaven.
The concert traces a century of cabaret, from 1920s Berlin to today’s Hollywood, with music by Kurt Weill, Lady Gaga, Benjamin Britten, and Billy Joel. Singers Kaileigh Riess, Marcus Huber, and Matthew Larson lead the program, weaving humor, emotion, and a few surprises along the way.
Appetizers, desserts, and drinks will be available during the show. Tickets are $30 and can be purchased online or at the door, starting half an hour before each performance.
The Milton concert is supported in part by the Milton Cultural Council, a local agency funded by the Mass Cultural Council. Details are at seaglasstheater.com or by calling 508-951-7187.
