ambrosia/salad interactive art at Haskell Gardens

The “ambrosia/salad” opening night is Saturday, Aug. 8 from 5 to 8 p.m., at Allen C. Haskell Public Gardens. A suggested donation is requested.

Site Specific Happenings will launch the site-responsive exhibition with an evening of installations, sculpture, performances and participatory activations throughout the gardens. Artists will present works inspired by the landscape that explore sound, movement, food, ecology and collective participation.

Opening night activations include:

  • Banana Split by Ananda Cordero
  • Bug Tag / How to Build a Meadow by Elizabeth Flood
  • Dead Bird Dinner Pt. I: Wild Claymaking by Michael Medeiros
  • I’m The Love of Your Life / Honey by Mikah Simone Akerib
  • Gloaming by Willa Van Nostrand and Eva Goodman
  • One Helluva Derv by Neal Todten

RSVP is required. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. The exhibition remains on view through Sept. 19.
