AHA! Night: Project Planet, Coastal Ecology

AHA! Night: Project Planet, Explore Our Ecosystem, is on Thursday, April 9, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Whaling Museum.

Enjoy free admission and full gallery access from 4 to 5 p.m. during AHA! Night. Visitors can pick up a scavenger hunt card and search for hidden whales throughout the museum.

Programs from 4 to 7 p.m. focus on climate change, marine life, and human impact. In the Jacobs Family Gallery, visitors can learn how ecosystems connect people, plants, and the environment.

UMass Dartmouth students will share capstone research from 4 to 6 p.m.

In the Harbor View Gallery, students from Our Sisters’ School present a showcase blending ocean science and art. The work reflects a two-year collaboration with scientists, fishermen, and artists.

Student presentations run from 5 to 6 p.m., followed by a reception at 6 p.m.
